Toasty, honeyed, waxy aromas of fig, kumquat and butterscotch over honeydew melon and lime juice. Forward, with a fine-grained, chalky texture and steely, tightly focused lemon-lime flavors sweetened by toasty oak. Turns fatter and fleshier toward the back, finishing clean and fresh. Precise and pristine; builds nicely on the palate. Give it time. 92 points |
