Noteringar:
2011-04-10 21:48 WA: The red wines include the already bottled, fruity, rich 15,000-case cuvee of 2009 Crozes-Hermitage Les Launes. An amazing bargain, it is the finest wine they have yet produced under this moniker. Seductive notes of black cherries, cassis, licorice, tobacco leaf and pepper are followed by an opulent, consumer-friendly but authentic Northern Rhone to drink over the next 5-6 years. (Not yet released) Under the inspired leadership of winemaker/administrator Jacques Grange, who has carte blanche authority from the proprietors, the Louis Roederer/Deutz Champagne firm, Delas has been on a fabulous qualitative roll for over a decade. They have enjoyed some great successes, so it is hard to say 2009 may be the magnum opus of Jacques Grange, but it certainly looks fabulous. Importer: Maison Marques et Domaines, Oakland, CA; tel. 2011-04-10 21:48 IWC: By Josh Raynolds Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, January/February 2011, Issue #154 (Delas Freres Crozes Hermitage Les Launes) ($21) Inky ruby. Spicy blackcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by notes of incense and licorice. Juicy and attractively sweet in the mouth, offering lively dark berry flavors and a hint of bitter cherry pit. Gains flesh with air and finishes with good clarity and spicy persistence. 89 points
