| 2007-05-19 21:38 | IWC: Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 02 ($42) Medium red. Currant, raspberry, toffee and cappuccino on the nose, along with sweet, smoky oak. Silky and sweet, with moderately concentrated red berry flavors. Juicy but not especially rich. Nicely made, but here one senses the full yields of the vintage. Finishes with rather suave tannins and good length. 88 points |
