Noteringar:
2008-04-30 12:15 IWC: By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Issue #135, November/December 2007) (Prunotto Barolo Bussia) Healthy deep red. Deep, very ripe aromas of raspberry, mocha, menthol and earth, with hints of leather, licorice and pepper and just the slightest hint of the vintage's roasted fruit character. Lush and smooth in texture; showing less floral perfume than the '04 Bric Turot but round, broad and fresh for '03. Very rich and ripe without coming off as heavy. Finishes with fine-gained tannins and excellent length. (Winebow, Inc., Hohokus, NJ) 91 points
2008-04-30 12:15 WA: The estate’s 2003 Barolo Bussia reveals an additional dimension of volume in its ripe dark fruit. With air balsamic overtones develop in the glass, as this pretty, poised wine gradually reveals its well-articulated aromas and flavors. Sweet and long on the palate, it offers outstanding balance as well as harmony. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2020. Importer: Winebow, Hohokus, NJ; tel. (201) 445-0620
2008-04-30 12:16 WS: Shows a very pretty nose for the vintage, with blackberry and hints of spices. Full-bodied, with a solid core of ripe fruit and polished tannins. Long and refined. A beautiful wine. Extremely well-balanced for the vintage. Best after 2009. 1,000 cases made. –JS
