Noteringar:
2007-12-26 21:07 IWC: By Josh Raynolds Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Issue #134, September/October 2007) (J.C. Conde Delgado y Otros Neo Ribera del Duero) ($58) Opaque purple. Energetic, mineral-accented raspberry and cassis aromas are complicated by violet, graphite and smoky bacon; smells like it's from the northern Rhone. Fresh red and dark berry flavors are refreshingly bitter and precise, with a peppery floral quality building with air. The very long finish offers racy cherry skin and mineral impressions. Wonderfully balanced and strikingly complex wine. (Grapes of Spain, Lorton, VA) 92 points
2007-12-26 21:08 WA: The 2004 Neo, from a better vintage than the 2003, is a more hedonistic effort. It is more expansive aromatically and offers greater complexity on the palate. This opulent wine is full-bodied, layered, and concentrated. Its structure is well-hidden but, make no mistake, this wine should blossom over the next 8-10 years for those with patience and will provide pleasure through 2030. Importer: Aurelio Cabestrero, Grapes of Spain, Lorton, VA; tel. 571.642.0343 fax 571.642.0505
2008-04-24 12:44 WS: This dense red shows power and harmony. It fills the palate with black plum, dark chocolate, mineral and gamy flavors, ripe, rich and thick. Muscular tannins dominate, but the wine remains focused and balanced; sweet fruit and spice linger on the finish. Best from 2010 through 2020. From Spain.—T.M.
