(Rust en Vrede Estate Estate Wine Stellenbosch) Bright, deep ruby-red. Complex, soil-inflected aromas of red berries, lead pencil, caraway seed, licorice, eucalyptus and deep oak. Dense but tightly wrapped, with strong acidity and the wine oak component currently dominant.
