WA: The 2006 Shiraz spent 18 months in used French oak. A glass-coating purple color, it has a brooding nose of blueberry and blackberry. Full-bodied, the wine is solid but essentially one-dimensional and uninspiring. It has a big core of fruit but only moderate length.
Nashwauk is a project of Reid Bosward and Kaesler. The Nashwauk vineyard is located in the McLaren Vale sub-region of Seaview Hills overlooking the Fleurieu Peninsula and the town of McLaren Vale. The 50 acres of vineyard are steep, rugged, and terraced with naturally low yields. These are the first releases.
