IWC: ($68-$90) Pungent aromas of orange peel, honey, nutty oak and essential oils convey power and lift. Thick on entry, then lush and palate-coating in the middle, with an almost limey citric character giving surprising energy and freshness to the wine's peach and honey flavors. Complicating oak notes of vanilla and spices. Finishes chewy, rich and very long-and nearly impossible to spit. With extended aeration, this wine became increasingly honeyed and rich. |

WA: The nose takes time to coalesce in the glass, very pure with honey, white peach, Turkish Delight honeysuckle, and beeswax. The palate is beautifully balanced, still with some oak to be subsumed, but has great depth and precision. This is a confident, almost ambitious Suduiraut with great power and intensity towards the botrytis-rich, viscous finish that is endowed with great persistency. Lovely. Drink now-2030. |

WS: Dried lemon and floral aromas lead to loads of botrytis spice and bitter lemon peel in this young, full-bodied sweetie, with hints of lively lime and honey. Medium sweet. Very intense. Best after 2014. –JS |
