($30) Light gold. Buttery pear, peach and melon on the nose, with hints of toasty oak. Clean and surprisingly brisk, with lively orchard fruit and honeydew flavors, zesty minerality and a long, spicy finish. This gains weight with air, picking up an orange marmalade quality. 88 points |

WA: From a cool climate region, the 2005 Chardonnay M3 Vineyard was given full malolactic, which it appears to have handled well. A light straw color is followed by crisp aromas of pears, white peaches, and white currants.
