Medicinal dark cherry and cedary, nutty oak on the nose. Broad, rich and large-scaled, with a high-toned character to the porty flavors. This boasts impressive volume but today the wine's fruit is somewhat overshadowed by its sweet oak and the alcohol is apparent. Finishes with broad, dusty tannins. 87 points |
