Noteringar:
2007-07-26 01:26 WS: Tight now, but focused, with a solid core of currant paste, cedar, mineral and coffee flavors and a nice broad-shouldered finish. This should flesh out nicely with modest cellaring. Drink now through 2009. 1,230 cases made. –JM
2007-07-26 01:27 IWC: By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 07 ($47) Ruby-red. Perfumed aromas of cassis and licorice, with a positive medicinal austerity. Densely packed cabernet with the strong natural acidity to balance the wine's concentrated dark berry, spice and mineral flavors. Currently a bit imploded in the middle palate but with the structure and class for a long and slow evolution in bottle. This wine, from what winemaker Kent called a cool vintage, aged in all-new barrels for 18 months before getting its first racking, then remained in oak another 9 months before being bottled in July of 2006. 91(+?) points
