Noteringar:
2008-04-25 09:32 IWC: By Josh Raynolds Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Issue #137, March/April 2008) (Vina Casa Silva Quinta Generacion Tinto Colchagua Valley) ($28) Deep ruby. Complex aromas of dark berries, resinous herbs, dried flowers and minerals offer excellent focus. Silky in texture, with deep blackcurrant and bitter cherry flavors, gentle tannins and a fresh, energetic finish. Balanced to age but delicious already. 90 points
2008-04-25 09:32 WA: The 2004 Quinta Generacion Red is made up of 40% Carmenere, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Shiraz, and 5% Petit Verdot. Purple/black in color, it offers a nose of vanilla, cedar, spice box, blueberry, and black currant. On the palate the wine is ripe and elegant but could use more depth while the finish is slightly compact. Importer: Vin Divino Ltd, Chicago, IL; tel. (773) 334-6700
