Lush and inviting aromas of smoky raspberry, cherry and flowers are underscored by a sweet, musky underbrush quality; this smells like top-drawer Morey-St. Denis. Juicy red and dark berry flavors are complicated by spicy licorice and succulent herbs, finishing bright and impressively long. Balanced and restrained in a way rarely found outside Burgundy. 92 points |
