Noteringar:
2008-08-28 09:10 IWC: By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/June 2005, Issue #120 (Haut Carles Fronsac) Full deep ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of deep black fruits and smoky oak. Round, supple and sweet, with generous, pliant flavors of plum and smoke. Lush, easygoing wine, finishing with rich, broad tannins. (87-89) points
2008-08-28 09:11 WA: A big time sleeper of the vintage, this superbly crafted Fronsac boasts a dark ruby/purple color as well as notes of wet steel, crushed rocks, spring flowers, blueberries, and blackberries. Medium to full-bodied, deep, concentrated, and structured with 15 or more years of evolution possible, it is a stunning wine that sells for a song.
2008-08-28 09:12 WS: Attractive blackberry, mineral and vanilla aromas, with undertones of coffee. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a medium finish. Good effort for this vintage. Best after 2010. 1,250 cases made. –JS
