WA: The estate’s 2003 La Poja (100% Corvina) is packed with over-ripe dark fruit, leather, spice, chocolate, earth and tobacco overtones. Full-bodied, and ample, this generous red offers excellent length and an inner core of sweetness that carries through to the finish. It should offer excellent drinking for the next five to seven years. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2013. This is a terrific set of consistently excellent to outstanding wines from Allegrini.
