(Domaine Perrot Minot Chambertin Clos de Beze Vieilles Vignes) Dark red. Less expressive and even wilder than the Mazoyeres, hinting at briary blackberry, violet and roast coffee. Then wonderfully sweet and silky yet at the same time cool and relatively unevolved, with strong acidity framing the red and black fruit flavors. Extremely long and animated on the back end. This definitely needs more elevage These vines are in the cooler northern part of this vineyard, notes Perrot-Minot. 93-96 points |
