Noteringar:
2007-10-09 00:43 WA: Tasting more like a Grenache-based wine than one dominated by Merlot, the 2004 offers up sweet, pure notes of kirsch along with crisp acidity in a medium-bodied, somewhat superficial format. Magdelaine is generally a lighter-styled claret, and the dark ruby-hued 2004 should be drunk during its first decade of life.
2007-10-09 00:43 IWC: By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 07 Medium red. Aromas of redcurrant, minerals and toasty oak, with a hint of decadence on the nose. Fresh and juicy; not especially complex or dense but rather elegantly styled in the context of the vintage. An easygoing wine that finishes with fine-grained tannins and good length. 88 points
2007-10-12 22:06 WS: Bright and perfumed aromas of plum, lilac and toast. Full-bodied, with layers of ultrafine tannins and a long, caressing finish. Cashmere. Beautiful. Best after 2012. 2,000 cases made. –JS
