IWC:
By Stephen Tanzer
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Issue #116, September/October 2004)
(Alvaro Palacios Finca Dofi Priorat) ($70) Deep, bright ruby-red. Explosive aromas of currant, violet, bitter chocolate and graphite. Juicy and pure but tightly wound, with the coolness of fruit that characterizes many Priorat wines from this difficult vintage. Firmly built, sharply delineated and fresh on the aftertaste. Still, this comes across as dry compared to L'Ermita. (90-92) points
