Dried cherry and currant aromas along with spicy, leafy underbrush on the nose. Distinctly old-school in flavor, with tangy redcurrant and cherry skin flavors and nuances of black tea and black cardamom. A slightly rustic but complex wine that would show better with food. 87 points |
