| 2007-05-31 10:48 | (2004 Maison Louis Jadot Clos Vougeot) ($92) Good full medium red. Perfumed, high-pitched aromas of red cherry, licorice and rose petal. Not especially fleshy but sweet, precise and fine-grained, with terrific energy to the complex flavors of red cherry, spices, minerals and flowers. This boasts excellent detail and grip. The very fine tannins are buried under cherry and mineral flavor. Very juicy and long. A distinctly noble, perfumed version of Clos Vougeot. |
