| 2007-12-16 19:08 | IWC: By Ian D'Agata Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 06 ($35; a blend of tocai, sauvignon and pinot bianco) Complex nose combines white fruit, mineral and mint aromas. Very clean, delineated flavors of citrus fruit, apple and peach, complicated by chamomile, spices and wildflowers. Bright acidity and a mineral edge add interest to this rich but penetrating wine. Finishes pure and long. A beautiful version of this bottling, which is consistently one of Italy's dozen best whites. 90 points |
