WA: The satin-textured 2002 Riesling Kabinett Saarburger Rausch is an outstanding wine. Its rich, ripe aromatics exhibit scents reminiscent of sweet slate and poached pears. Medium-bodied, plump yet well-focused, it regales the palate with flint, minerals, and white fruits. This effort has admirable depth, delineation and a long, expressive finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
