WS: Firm and complex, with tight, vivid, structured earth, spice and blackberry fruit that's nicely proportioned. While the tannins are mouthcoating, they give this wine uncommon structure, with a nice splash of pepper and spice. Drink now through 2009. 2,200 cases made. –JL |
