Oak spicy aromas of plum, candied cherry and raspberry, complemented by mocha and cured tobacco. Dense but juicy red fruit flavors show youthful restraint and good intensity, with firm but fine-grained tannins coming up on the finish. Finishes sweet, chewy and long. Promises good things with another three to five years in the cellar. 90 points |
