(Sadie Family Palladius) #1b; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-this is wild; very interesting; a wild blend of melted down Ricola candy, mint, graininess & pears; also has grassy & smokey components; TASTE-this wine is RiDONKulous; complete explosion & palate takeover; this completely coats the palate; gorgeous bright & intense yellow fruit flavors (pears, papayas, lemons); little basil leaf action; creaminess; vanilla FOR DAYS on the back-end; custard, whipped cream; very creamy in it's approach, while still being fresh & fruity; nice solid balance between the fruit & acidity; this is a monstrous white wine; an imaginary blend of a White Bordeaux & CdP Blanc; it explodes for days; I like this wine a lot; starts creamy, then acidic, then creamy again; this is extraordinary; this will easily last for 10 years; an absolute eye-opener; WS-92; GV-93 93 points |
