Bright, concentrated and uncompromisingly dry, with the sheer extract to support its powerful spine. Shows impressive weight for a young Corton-Charlemagne. Very long, slightly tannic finish. The yield here was a healthy 40 hectoliters per hectare. Also tasted: 1998 Meursault*, Savigny-les-Beaune Guettes*. |
