Noteringar:
2008-10-09 11:17 WS: Milk chocolate and blackberry aromas follow through to a full body, with very soft tannins and a long, caressing finish. This is so delicious now, but has a balance of fruit and tannins. One of the best from this estate in some time. Best after 2014. 2,500 cases made. –JS
2008-10-09 11:17 WA: The 2005 Petit Village is a superficial, straightforward, fruit-driven effort displaying notes of roasted herbs, espresso, cherries, and hints of strawberries as well as licorice. Medium-bodied with light tannin and a straightforward finish, it should be consumed over the next 10-15 years.
2008-10-09 11:18 IWC: By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/June 2008, Issue #138 (Chateau Petit Village Pomerol) Medium red. Wild, distinctly animal aromas of plum, coffee and roasted meat. Plush and sweet, with musky plum, toffee and meat flavors and an essentially soft texture. Finishes with very good length and plenty of ripe tannins. Sauvage but reasonably rich. 89 points
