Noteringar:
2007-10-09 00:35 WA: Performing better from bottle than it did from barrel, this is a classic, elegant La Fleur-Petrus (in contrast to the blockbuster 2006) offering hints of kirsch liqueur, soy, and resiny pine forest notes. Elegant, medium-bodied, fresh, and pure, it is best drunk over the next 14-15 years.
2007-10-09 00:35 IWC: By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 07 ($64) Full red. Slightly medicinal aromas of redcurrant, plum, chocolate and herbs, along with a peppery nuance. Supple in texture but a bit subdued, with restrained sweetness and notes of herbs and minerals. I find this in an awkward stage today, and a tad dry and green on the back, but there's firm spine and sneaky flavor intensity here. 87(+?) points
2007-10-12 21:56 WS: Very attractive chocolate, black olive, berries and even tobacco on the nose. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins, a refined texture and a long, caressing finish. All here. Best after 2012. 3,500 cases made. –JS
