IWC: Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, September/October 2010, Issue #152
(Chateau de Puligny Montrachet Chevalier Montrachet) ($288) Bright, pale green-tinged yellow. Lively aromas of lime, apple and powdered stone. Then ripe, rich and almost surprisingly full in the mouth, with highly concentrated flavors of lime and minerals. Not at all an austere style of Chevalier-Montrachet but suave and seamless. I'd give this a couple of years, but I wouldn't bury it too deep in the cellar. 93 points |
